| SUNDAY, APRIL 1 – 9 NEWS CHALLENGE |
| The stage is set for the Nine News Challenge between the EFL and the VAFA!
A morning match will also take place between the EFL's divisions three and four and the VAFA's Premier C-D1 grades. Noble Park coach Mick Fogarty, fresh from the Bulls' back to back premierships in division one, will coach the EFL D1/2 team, while Ringwood's Nick Tennant will be at the helm of the EFL D3/4 side. Nick is well known and respected throughout the EFL as a player and coach, having previously coached East Burwood and Montrose and being a 300 game EFL Life Member. Make sure to mark the date in your diary as April 1 will no doubt be a cracking day to see the EFL's best take on the VAFA. It will also mark the opening of the new facilities currently being constructed at Bayswater Oval as we mark the end of the EFL's 50th year celebrations. The matches will support MND Australia which supports sufferers of motor neurone disease and One in Five, an organisation that raises funds for the cause and treatment of mental illness. Squad details and assistant coaches will be announced in the coming weeks. |

Sunday April 1 will see a team selected from the Eastern Football League's divisions one and two take on a side from the VAFA's Premier A and B competitions at Bayswater Oval.
