| Do you still keep in touch? | Yes, I am lucky to keep in touch |
| Are you still involved in sports? | Yes |
| Theories on life: | Life is sensational, especially when you realise what the alternative is. In the words of the great Groucho ! " Never loan people money, it gives them amnesia " |
| Favourite holiday sport: | Sport creates great opportunities for people of all walks of life. When you enter the field of battle the rules are the same for everyone and it is your performance on the day which counts and every day is a new opportunity. In today's sport there are terrific career opportunities opening up not only as peformers but in admin, management, coaching, medical, umpiring and media that were never as prevelant as they are today. When you are involved, even at a local level you are constantly mixing with people who are trying to achieve and this is an exciting atmosphere to be part of. Just a thought - A youth club organiser should be someone who knows exactly what teenagers enjoy doing but firm enough to stop it. |
| Favourite activity: | Meeting up with friends at Noble Park |
| What you can't tolerate: | Pushy parents and players who think they are bigger than the team. Being locked in a jail cell with Pat Wright Jnr after he has had a feed of onions. Which reminds me - I was visiting the local prison recently when one of the cons asked me to buy a ticket for the wardens ball. I said "I don't dance " he said "it's not a dance it's a raffle" |
| Highlights in your life: | Having being associated with so many fantastic people over the years and being able to genuinely call them friends is probably the biggest highlight of all. I believe we are all richer for having Noble Park Football Club play such an important part in our lives. I once took a girl from Noble home with me and she said " Part of me wants to be very bad" I thought "You ripper ". Unfortunately it was her breath. |
